If you have decided on having a golf course wedding in Edmonton there are a few factors to consider. First would be if they have the option for indoor and outdoor ceremonies. The Quarry has exemplary options for both. The outdoor area has a giant fountain next to it which makes it very picturesque. Inside has the ability to hold up to 275 people seated and it also has the option for catering.
An area that is often overlooked when couples consider booking a venue is the staff. We get the luxury of seeing an abundance of wedding locations and I can assure you that the Quarry is one of the leaders. I am not sure what their hiring process is but everyone that I have noticed goes above and beyond their job description to insure that the guests are all taken care of.
The last point we recommend is the ability to use the course for your wedding photos. As photographers we can honestly say that the Quarry has some of the best views a golf course can offer. Elevated tee boxes, wooden bridges, a creek, and the staff are more than willing to allow use of a cart and someone to drive you around to let you know the best spots. This was extremely helpful for us especially with a tight timeline to get the couple back to the reception.
