Karlyn and Warren were married on September 26th, 2015. It was a beautiful fall day and the ceremony took place at Greystone Gardens Bed and Breakfast 25 51113 RR 270 Spruce Grove, ABT7Y 1G2 (780) 987-3810
After the ceremony we drove to Warren's grandparents house to take some photos. Warren was very close with his grandparents and even helped his grandfather rebuild the vintage truck in the photo. It just so happens that their theme was vintage so the truck and the house were perfect additions to the photo.
We wanted to create something romantic so we asked them to get in close and have Karlyn pull on Warren's suit a little. With their emotions as well as the sun flare I feel like we accomplished our goal. The image really makes me feel like these two are completely in love.
The image was taken with a Canon 5D Mark III and a 24-70, 2.8L series lens. My wife Jackie is also using the reflector to bounce some light back at the couple.
The only difficulty shooting this image was making sure there wasn't too much lens flare as I wanted the emotion to catch your eye first. We had originally posed them in front of the truck but once we moved them to the side the image really started coming together.
I really feel that the colour of the truck helps to make this image even stronger. The way the light hits it, really makes the colour pop.
Once we finished the photos we drove into the city to the ceremony location which was held at the Mirage Banquet Hall 8170 50 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6B 1E6
