Think differently about destination weddings

A “destination” wedding in Canada and why your guests will love it!

Want a destination wedding but don’t necessarily want to travel abroad? Consider destinations within Canada. Coast to coast to coast, Canada has some of the most beautiful and diverse scenery than any other country.

The majestic Canadian Rockies have some unbelievable venues. Our favourite is definitely Silvertip Resort. Your ceremony overlooks the Three Sisters Mountain and you are nestled in to the heart of the rockies in Canmore.

Picture your ceremony on top of a cliff in St. Johns Newfoundland. Waves crashing against the rocks and the cool breeze against your skin while the sun beats down. Want something remote and unique? Fogo Island Inn was named one of the top wedding venues in 2014.

Or, one of the most beautiful churches in Canada, Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal, offers old cathedral archetecture. Old Montreal has a European feel that will make you and your guests feel like you’ve traveled abroad.

Do you like stargazing? How about stepping out of your reception venue at Blachford Lake Lodge in Northwest Territories, and looking up to the dancing Northern Lights! The perfect time to view them is between November until April.

What to get married in a castle? Casa Loma in Toronto in one of the top tourist attractions in Toronto and luckily, open to weddings! Love library’s? The Toronto library allows wedding ceremonies and receptions!

Whatever province you choose their is sure to be a lot of thankful guests because they didn't have to bring a passport to witness you say "I do"
