Red Deer Wedding Photographers

We're wedding photographers who photograph weddings, portraits, and events in Red Deer, Alberta. Red Deer is the third largest city in Alberta with a population of 100,418. It is located in-between Edmonton and Calgary.

Red Deer started out as a trading post well over 100 years ago and only had a few small homesteads. Agriculture has always been a big part of Red Deer and with the help of a vastly expanding oil and gas sector Red Deer has become a thriving modern city in Alberta.

One of the most frequently visited places in Red Deer during the summer is Discovery Canyon Park. It is also one of Alberta's most popular municipal water parks.

Red Deer is home to the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. This is a must see for all ages as kids and adults can participate in a number of interactive games like hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball and football. Kids will love exploring the Mount Everest climbing wall while mom and dad catch up on Alberta's extremely diverse sports history.

Red Deer has started a very popular tourism venture called Agritourism. With over 9,100 farms in the area there is an abundance of fresh food available to all the restaurants in Red Deer and many farms offer the opportunity to visit and see how they grow their produce. Once the growing season has started there are also many farms that offer the U-pick experience where visitors can pick their own fruit and vegetables.

One farm that stands out is the Kraay Family Farm. This incredible family farm is home to over 40 family friendly attractions. With a corn maze that stretches over 15 acres, pumpkin cannons, an obstacle course and many other activities, this is the perfect way to spend an unforgettable day.
