Most of our weddings that we photograph are in Edmonton but any chance we get the opportunity to work in Canmore we couldn't be more excited. So what do you need to know if you are planning on getting married in the Rocky Mountains. First thing to consider is will your venue be in Canmore or Banff? Both are perfect but it all depends on what you are looking for. We find Canmore a little less busier than Banff. Plus our favourite venue in all of Canada is in Canmore and that is the world class Silver Tip Resort. We have seen some spectacular wedding venues but none of them compares to what Silver Tip has to offer. With a majestic view overlooking the Three Sisters Mountains there are very view places in the world as stunning as this.
There are also some very nice indoor wedding venues in town. Cornerstone Theatre is the most popular because the food and service is top notch.
Wherever you decide to get married in Canmore you really can't go wrong. In our opinion its a much better option than any destination wedding outside of the country.
