Engagement Photos Edmonton High Level Bridge Streetcar

Edmonton is home to a plethora of engagement photo locations. The beauty is you can even use some of them for your wedding photo locations as well. This particular location can be accessed on the north side of the Strathcona farmers market building. It is one of the most unique locations in Edmonton and is known simply as the streetcar. This used to be the main mode of transportation in Edmonton until 1951 when all but one of the streetcars was retired. In 1979 the Edmonton railway society recommissioned the streetcar for public tours over the High Level bridge. It was an instant hit with locals and visitors to Edmonton and has remained in service to this day.

When Jonathan and Nancy were deciding on their favorite locations they had mentioned that one of their first dates was on this very streetcar. We knew right away that we had to recreate a photo from that date. The conductor of the streetcar was extremely helpful and even gave us more time to capture the angles that we were hoping to get. Once we finished on the streetcar we utilized the farmers market building for a cool graffiti backdrop. It was such a great experience and the engagement photos turned out so well.

Location: 109 St NW, Edmonton, AB.
