Graduating from high school in Edmonton is a big deal! You need to commemorate this major event by getting grad photos done! We have come up with a list of strategies to help you plan for the best session possible.
Choosing a time of year is the first step. Which season do you like the best? Spring is the most popular time to do grad photos but that doesn't mean you have to stick with the norm. The next most popular time is Fall because of the colours. If you are a summer person we like to plan photos in the evening to get away from the heat of the afternoon. We have also photographed a few grads in winter that loved to snowmobile and play hockey. Being on an outdoor rink is perfect for anyone that loves hockey.
Once you have chosen a time of year the next step would be to choose your outfits. Are you going to wear your grad dress or suit for the photos, what about your cap and gown, maybe some casual clothes that you love, or even your sports jersey. These should all be thought of ahead of time. We like to suggest 2-3 outfits but if you only want one outfit, that works too!
Will you include any family members, bestie, or boyfriend/girlfriend? We know how important this event is for you and we want to photograph anyone thats important to you. You will never have this moment again so don't hesitate to add more people.
We will help you with everything else including location, posing, and lighting. We are very experienced with high school grads, our job is to make you feel as comfortable as possible while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere for you to rock your photos.
