A simple google search about wedding photographers in Edmonton will produce thousands and thousands of photographers. So what separates the good from the bad?
In my opinion its experience and personality. You can have the best photographer in the world but if your personalities clash on the wedding day it doesn't matter how good the photos are it's not going to be a fun day for anyone.
Our advice has always been to check out portfolios first and then schedule a meeting for coffee with the ones that make your list. We will not book a wedding unless we have met the couple first. We are interviewing the couple just as much as they are interviewing us. We want to make sure that we are a good fit. If we are having red flags and warning signs go off in our head it's much better to recommend them to someone else. We love our job too much to do it just for the money. We want to work with people that we know we will get along with. This should be exactly what you are looking for as well.
